What is the meaning of the word 'improve'?

Starting with the letter I, the word ‘Improve.”

The word ‘improve’ is explained as follows in The Positive Dictionary:

Improve: Improve on a previous performance. * There is always potential for improvement.

It has often been said that we use maximum 10 percent of our mental capacity. The fact is that much of that limitation is caused by us.

The mind is very much like a muscle. If we don’t exercise it, it can become lazy, inactive and dull. If we do not stimulate it we can fall into a rut which is difficult to get out of. Our performance in work and life in general may decline and become mediocre.

The challenge is to ensure continuous growth and improvement in our thinking. This can be achieved through continuous learning, through new methods of thinking, e.g. lateral thinking, mind mapping, systems thinking, memory improvement and others.

Thinking can also be improved by abolishing negative thinking and embracing positive thinking. When we think positively our mind opens up to the opportunities around us. It creates new energy to perform better, to become more efficient and effective, to achieve our goals and to enjoy life.

A positive attitude ensures continuous improvement
